Andrew Adrian Pua is an econometrician working on panel data related issues. He has been involved in teaching and research in The Philippines, The Netherlands, Germany, and, most recently in China as an assistant professor of quantitative economics.
He has developed open educational resources and has written a couple of papers meant to easily get students up to speed so that they can engage with more difficult topics in econometrics.
Two personal tidbits: (1) He usually cooks dishes he has never tasted before. (2) If he were to be reborn as a vegetable, he would choose to be a radish.
Andrew is also our Conference Chair for 2025!

Nesli is a lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Karadeniz Technical University (Türkiye), as well as a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Southampton (UK).
Her research areas examine digital technologies—such as virtual reality—as part of stress paradigms and their potential to enhance theory-driven treatments for anxiety. She is also interested in understanding the theoretical basis of how mobile applications for anxiety—including mindfulness tools—operate as digital interventions and how this differs from traditional, in-person approaches in improving well-being.
Nesli cares about improving how statistics is taught, encouraging open and transparent research practices, and making statistical tools easier and more fun to use in the social sciences. Outside of work, she supports initiatives for the welfare of homeless animals (and reads stats books).
This could be you!
We are always excited to hear from statistics education researchers from across the world who would like to join our team of Geographical Centre Representatives.
The role involves acting as a liaison between RoSE and statistics education networks/researchers in your geographical region, working with our EDI team to identify and break down any barriers to participation in RoSE events and initiatives, and representing your region on the General Committee.
